Busy, busy, busy

Life has been really busy but really amazing.

In January I did something crazy. I quit my day-job as it was interfering with my music making. It was one of the toughest decisions I’ve ever had to make, and it was absolutely terrifying. I knew I could survive two months without needing a day-job so I took the plunge.

Reed Making is always a wild affair!

Three months later I am still rolling without a day job. Funny how when you have more time to play music, more music will come your way. I have joined a Woodwind Quintet, had more time for Das Fagott Mannschaft, have picked up a few more students, have decided to develop my reeds better and design a student reed, and am embarking on a knitted accessory shop (more details in a future post).

The summer will be a whole new kettle of fish, and will most likely involve riding my new bicycle and busking, but I am excited to see what life has in store for me and where music will lead me!
